What's Your Word of the Year?
Positive affirmations are so much more than simply feel good words. They are a daily repetition, meant to uplift and encourage, whoever chooses to speak them. I believe in the power of words, which is why we hand engrave them on our charms.
I have chosen a word of the year, every year since we opened the store in 2012. The idea is, if you SPEAK IT, WRITE IT and BELIEVE IT, you will MANIFEST IT in your life.
The year I opened the store, my word was EMBRACE because I wanted to embrace the new journey that I had started.
This past year, My word was Alchemy which is the physical aspect of turning metal into gold.
Spiritually, it’s the practice of inner transformation by aligning your thoughts, feelings, and actions with your highest and most authentic self. The words encircling alchemy in the photo above are my reminders for this alignment .
Let's transform together this coming year... we rise by sharing our dreams and supporting one another as they come to fruition.

Absolve is my word this year. I want to learn to free myself from guilt of always trying to please everybody and learn to take a little time for my own mental health.

My word is Freedom.
Since 2013 I’ve overcome many difficult events that were major pivotal points in my life. I won’t lie, there were times I wanted to run back to St Croix, my happy place, but instead I learned how to cope, breathe, and most of all, how to keep the faith under even the most difficult times. In 2013 when all these events began happening to me I stumbled upon a stone that said FREEDOM. It means so much to me because i was reminded that we have the FREEDOM run or stay. The FREEDOM to leave relationships that no longer serve us. The FREEDOM to say NO. The FREEDOM to reinvent ourselves. The FREEDOM to choose love over hate. The FREEDOM to move to an Island. Reminding myself of my FREEDOM, I no longer felt STUCK. Now it was a choice to stay.
I no longer felt hopeless. I could now see a light at the end of the tunnel. My FREEDOM stone empowered me and still continues to today!
