What's Your Word of the Year?

Positive affirmations are so much more than simply feel good words. They are a daily repetition, meant to uplift and encourage, whoever chooses to speak them. I believe in the power of words, which is why we hand engrave them on our charms.
I have chosen a word of the year, every year since we opened the store in 2012. The idea is, if you SPEAK IT, WRITE IT and BELIEVE IT, you will MANIFEST IT in your life.
The year I opened the store, my word was EMBRACE because I wanted to embrace the new journey that I had started.

This past year, My word was Alchemy which is the physical aspect of turning metal into gold.
Spiritually, it’s the practice of inner transformation by aligning your thoughts, feelings, and actions with your highest and most authentic self. The words encircling alchemy in the photo above are my reminders for this alignment .
Let's transform together this coming year... we rise by sharing our dreams and supporting one another as they come to fruition.

Word for the year: ATONEMENT
My word is “LIVE”
I choose to “LIVE”!
I will not be defeated by the hardships I’ve suffered. I will not let deviation consume me. I will not dismay at situations out of my control. I will not loose myself because I’ve lost others. I will have victory ~ I will LIVE!
I choose to LIVE and believe in kindness and hope, to be alive with aspirations and dreams for today, tomorrow, and the future, to know true joy, to be satisfied in a life well lived, to have comfort in knowing I’m never alone, to to be proud of the next generation, to explore new things, to see the good.
I choose to to LIVE and highlight the amazing experiences afforded me, the warmth of the sun, the thrills of true love, fresh air blowing though my hair, the satisfaction of a job well done, the joy of new birth, the humility and gratitude of a gift received & undeserved, the amazing joy and swell of self worth when doing good for others, without expectations of return.
I choose to LIVE and relish all the glorious sounds my ears can hear, the birds singing, all the laughter, the sweetness of children’s voices, all the glorious varieties of music in this world, the sounds of a storm, the lightning cracking, the wind howling and the rain beating like a drum.
I choose to LIVE and absorb all the wonderful fragrances and tastes all around, the smells in nature, the salty sea air, the varieties of florals, spices, and herbs, to try all the varieties of tastes afforded to me.
I choose to LIVE and take in all that my eyes can see, the city scapes, beautiful beaches, stars glittering like diamonds in the sky, the beauty of nature, the strength in the trees, tears of joy on grateful faces, the many varieties and colors of amazing flowers, lights sparkling in the night, the uniqueness of all people, the smiles that I’m so privileged to see.
I choose to LIVE and enjoy all that God has given us, love, the gift of nature, peace, the beauties of this world, hope and faith, the solace in a a belief of definite life in the heavenly realms.
I choose to LIVE! I will live to the fullest, this gracious gift of life.
